The Grand Rios Water Park Hotel is located just off Hwy 694 and Hwy 81 in Brooklyn Park. The Grand Rios is actually a renovated hotel breathing new life into this building with the addition of a 45,000 Sq Foot water park complete with water slides extending out of the hotel and a lazy river to float in. The Grand Rios Hotel also features a large arcade and a snack stand as well as a great bar and hotel restaurant. Grand Rios Hotel guests can play in the water park or keep to themselves in the hotel pool that is smaller but for Grand Rios Hotel guests only. Access to the water park at the Grand Rios is available to those who are not staying at the hotel. You can purchase a day pass and Brooklyn Park residents receive a small discount. The Grand Rios Water Park Hotel opened in the fall of 2004 and has been a popular place for people in the Brooklyn Park & Maple Grove and greater Twin Cities area.
